Heavy rains: Mumbai-bound Konark Express short terminated at Lonavala

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express was short terminated at Lonavala today due to heavy rains in Mumbai.

As per railway sources, the 11020 Bhubaneshwar-Mumbai Konark Express has been short terminated at Lonavala and will run as 11019 Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express from Pune.

Besides, the Bhubaneshwar-LTT Express will be short terminated at Manmad and run as 12879 LTT-Bhubaneshwar Express from Manmad.

As per reports, over 25 persons have so far been killed in rain-related incidents in Mumbai and Pune due to heavy rains. Meanwhile, the  the city administration declared a public holiday today.
