Held for Raia murder, accused loses tiatr role

MARGAO: Even as the four accused in the murder case of Francisco Carvalho are cooling their heels in police custody, it has now come to light that while one among them, Vilton Coutinho, 34, is a theatre artiste and Melburn Coutinho, was working as a lifeguard.

Sources said that Coutinho is a tiatrist and had a role to perform in a show that was scheduled on Monday.

However, following his arrest, the tiatr producers had to go ahead with the show with a replacement. The manhunt launched by the Maina Curtorim police for two more accused in the case continued on Tuesday without much success. The police had on Sunday arrested four persons in the case.
