While the total funding pool has not been publicly disclosed, the announcement confirms that the programme is backed by a multi-million-pound commitment from a consortium of institutional investors.
The initiative coincides with the UK’s pro-crypto regulatory environment, with comprehensive crypto legislation expected by 2026. The country has attracted a surge of Web3 companies, owing to its progressive stance on digital assets and robust financial infrastructure.
All Web3 startups operating in the UK must be licensed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
Startups interested in participating can apply through Founders Factory, with the programme set to begin in the second half of 2025. Founders will receive mentorship from veterans across the blockchain, AI, and venture capital sectors.
