IIT JAM 2024 Registration Deadline Extended Till April 29, Apply on jam.iitm.ac.in

The deadline for JAM 2024 admissions has been extended. Those interested in pursuing master's or PhD programmes at IITs can apply until April 29 on jam.iitm.ac.in. JAM 2024 offers opportunities for various postgraduate programmes including MSc, MSc(Tech), Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-MTech dual degree, and MSc-PhD dual degree.

The JAM 2024 recruitment drive aims to fill 3,000 seats across 89 postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs for 2024-25. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is conducting the exam. The registration fee for IIT JAM 2024 is Rs 750.

Changes and Important Dates for JAM 2024 Admissions:
IIT Madras has removed the joint MSc-PhD programme in Chemical and Molecular Biology, previously offered by IIT Kharagpur, from JAM 2024.

Apart from the IITs, over 2,000 seats at the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (IISc) are also available for admission.

The first admission list for JAM 2024 will be released on May 31, with candidates required to pay the seat reservation fee by June 4. The second admission list is expected on June 12.

Candidates accepting their offered seats must pay a seat booking fee online. The fee is Rs 15,000 for General/OBC-NCL/EWS categories and Rs 7,500 for SC/ST/PwD categories.
