Illegal mining in Mohali: one booked

The Mohali police have registered a case of illegal mining that was going on in Mullanpur. The incident took place on Tuesday late evening when police officials received information about the mining going on in Tira village.


On the basis of the information , the police officials rushed to the spot and found out that some perosns were involved in mining in the nearby riverbed.

They fled from the spot on seeing the cops. . The officials managed to recover a truck owned by Jang Bahadur, a resident of Tira village .

A case has been registered against him.
