Illuminated 'Lotus' Symbol, Saffron-Coloured Vehicle: PM Modi's Bareilly Roadshow | VIDEO

Bareilly: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a mega roadshow in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly. A large number of people came out on the road to have a glimpse of PM Modi. Standing on a saffron-coloured vehicle decorated with flowers, the Prime Minister held an illuminated 'lotus' symbol.

He kept waving at the people.

Many of his supporters were carrying placards with "Abki Baar 400 paar" written on them.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP candidate from Bareilly Chhatrapal Gangwar also accompanied PM Modi during the roadshow.

The roadshow started from the Rajendra Nagar area and will end at the cross-section in the DD Puram area, covering a distance of around 1.2 kilometres, local party officials said.

Voting for the Bareilly Lok Sabha Seat will take place in the third phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Chhatrapal Singh Gangwarfrom from this seat against Samajwadi Party's Praveen Singh Aron.

The parliamentary polls in Uttar Pradesh are being held in all seven phases from April 19 to June 1. Votes will be counted on June 4.

All the opinion polls predicted BJP's thumping victory in Uttar Pradesh with over 70 seats out of 80. Meanwhile, the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, INDIA Bloc partners, are contesting the polls in alliance. As per the seat-sharing deal, the Congress is contesting on 17 seats, while the Samajwadi Party has fielded its candidates on the remaining 63 seats.
