Jharkhand: 8 elderly patients died in 24 hours due to coronavirus

The coronavirus has become a enemy for the elderly. In Jharkhand, 8 elderly people lost their lives due to covid-19 infection in a single day on Thursday. The eight patients who died on Thursday include three from Ranchi and 1-1 patients from East Singhbhum, Godda, Giridih, Gumla and West Singhbhum. In Ranchi, 5 corona patients died in a single day on Thursday, including 1-1 Gumla and Giridih patients.

Among the patients who died in the Rims of Ranchi, a 65-year-old elderly man was undergoing treatment on a ventilator for 2 days. Many parts of his body were not functioning. A 65-year-old woman admitted to the Corona ward of Rims died due to deteriorating condition. This woman is facing kidney problems, diabetes and many other diseases. On the other hand, a 62-year-old aged man sent from Ranchi's Raj Hospital for dialysis died shortly after reaching Rims. The patient was suffering from chronic kidney disease.

It is to be noted that 1 other 37-year-old male has died in Rims. This patient was having trouble breathing. In ICU he was placed on ventilator. A 51-year-old woman resident of Basant Vihar in Ranchi also died in Rims. Meanwhile, 81-year-old woman living in Chaibasa died at TMH in Jamshedpur, who is suffering from various diseases including diabetes, high blood pressure.
