Karnataka BJP leader Prakash Hadimani's son among four killed in Gadag

GADAG/HUBBALLI: Four individuals from a family were reportedly discovered murdered in Gadag, Karnataka, early on Friday. According to police, the incident took place at approximately 2.30 am today at Dasara Oni in Gadag town.

The victims have been identified as Karthik Prakash Bakale (27), Parashuram Hadimani (55), Lakshmi Hadimani (45), and Akanksha Hadimani (16).

Karthik, the son of BJP leader Prakash Hadimani, was among the victims. His mother, Sunanda, serves as the vice president of the Gadag-Betageri City Municipal Council.

It is said that the Hadimani family had come to attend Karthik's marriage, which was fixed for April 17.

Gadag Superintendent of Police Babasaheb Nemgoud said, "Investigation is on. We will soon nab the culprits.
Probably the criminals gained entry through the open terrace of the building and perpetrated the crime."

Karnataka Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H K Patil visited the grieving family members and extended his condolences.
