Karnataka: House collapses in Dharwad, three dead

HUBBALLI: Three killed including two children after a mud house collapsed in Yaraguppi village on Monday late night.


The deceased have been identified as Yallavva Gadad,53,Jyoti Meti, 9,Shravani Radhai, 4. One injured in the incident after which he was rushed to the KIMS Hospital in Hubballi.

Former CM Siddaramaiah visited to the tragedy spot for the inspection and consoled families of the deceased. He was accompanied by Congress candidate Kusumavati Shivalli.

Kundgol police said the mud house was in shabby condition. The deceased died due to suffocation after a heap mud fall on them.
The police have registered a case on the incident.
