In a recent episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, actress Kristen Stewart opened up about her stance on starring in Marvel films and shared an emotional moment from the 2024 Oscars ceremony.


Marvel Role: "Sounds like a F*ing Nightmare"**



Despite her success in both indie and blockbuster films, Stewart revealed that she is hesitant to star in a Marvel movie unless specifically asked by one person.
She expressed that the idea of making a superhero film "sounds like a fucking nightmare, actually," citing concerns about the lack of personal connection in the process.

While some fans speculated she would be a great fit for the role of Mary Jane "MJ" Watson from the Spider-Man comics, Stewart spoke on the significant changes that would need to occur within the industry for her to consider such a role. She noted the necessity of placing trust in one person, suggesting that the current system lacks the personal touch she desires.


However, Stewart hinted at a potential exception, stating that if Barbie director Greta Gerwig approached her to star in a Marvel movie, she would be inclined to accept.

During the podcast interview, Stewart also shared a touching moment she experienced while watching the 2024 Oscars ceremony. Reflecting on Ryan Gosling's performance as "I'm Just Ken," Stewart admitted to feeling both emotional and amused.
