Madhya Pradesh: 4 students injured as wall collapses in Shivpuri school, probe on

BHOPAL: Four children were injured after the wall of a classroom in a government school collapsed while the classes were going on in Madhya Pradesh 's Shivpuri district on Tuesday.


The incident took place at Government Vijay Anand Higher Secondary School situated at Berad. The district officials of the education department have ordered a probe into the incident.

Sources said that the wall of the class IX collapsed while the class was going on, injuring four children. While the condition of the two is said to be serious, one of them has been referred to Gwalior for treatment, said sources.

There were around 40 students in the class when the accident took place. The building had a tin roof, hence a major accident was averted, they added.
