Man ends life by jumping into well
Attingal: Two men committed suicide in separate incidents on Monday, after allegedly picking up quarrels with their wives.
Chandramohan Nair (61), of Bindooram, Kallamkonam in Kannamba near Varkala killed himself by jumping into a well.
According to police, the incident happened on Monday around 10 am following a quarrel between him and his wife.
“ Though he was rushed to Varkala government taluk hospital at Varkala, he was declared brought dead,” said a police officer.
Man found hanging: In Peringamala, Satheesh Kumar (40), of Kunnumpurath house, Panniyottukadavu in Kochuvila was found hanging in his house.
“On Monday afternoon the victim came home drunk and had a fight with his wife. First, he tried to immolate himself, but his wife who saw him pouring kerosene over him prevented it. Later he was found hanging from an iron pipe using a rope in the kitchen”, said a police officer of Palode station. TNN
