Man thrashed by group in road rage case

Lucknow: A parking dispute turned violent when a man attacked another driver with sticks and belts in the Saadatganj area.

One of the videos from the incident went viral on social media. It showed a man climbing onto the roof of a car during a traffic jam and hitting it with a stick, reminiscent of a movie fight scene.

The Lucknow Police commented on the viral video, stating, “An FIR has been registered at Bazarkhala regarding the matter, and further action is being taken.”

The incident occurred on Friday evening on Campbell Road. Mohammad Arshad, a resident of Victoria Gunj in Bazarkhala, was driving to a wedding with his family.

“When my nephew Danish tried to open the car door, it hit another car. He apologised to a woman inside the car, but the accused Akhil grabbed my collar, and called his friends. They beat me with belts and kicked me,” he added.
