Meteorological Department issues Orange alert in these cities of Uttarakhand

Dehradun: Monsoon has already knocked and it has been raining heavily and continuously in many parts of the country. And during this time, the three cities of the state may still get the maximum rainfall. Celestial lightning may also fall. In view of this, the Weather Department has issued an Orange Alert. Mussoorie Dehradun road has been blocked due to landslide near Ghananand Inter College.  

In Raipur area of Dehradun, houses were filled with water in Shiv Colony and Bhagat Singh Colony on Thursday night. The SDRF team rescued people and took people to safe places. Waterlogging in the rain has damaged goods kept in people's homes. No casualties are reported. According to the bulletin issued by the Weather Center, today some areas of Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Chamoli may receive maximum rainfall. There may be two to three rounds of heavy rain.

Apart from this, there is also a suspicion of lightning. Weather Center Director Bikram Singh said that Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Nainital, Pauri and most areas of Dehradun and Almora, Udham Singh Nagar, Tehri, Uttarkashi cities may receive light to moderate rainfall.  18 rural roads were blocked due to the rains in New Tehri last night. People have to walk a distance on foot. Due to the blockage, people are facing a lot of problems.
