Monekys wreaks havoc in Vrindavan, people are in terror

Mathura: The terror of monkeys in Vrindavan is increasing to such an extent that there are often reports of an attack on someone. In Govind Bagh area, a shopkeeper was fatally attacked by a group of monkeys but somehow managed to save himself. Nikunj Goyal, who lives in the area at about 10.30 a.m., came home from his shop for some work.

As Nikunj stood up his scooty and entered from the gate of the house, a group of monkeys attacked him. The monkeys attacked Nikunj in such a way that he fell to the ground and all the monkeys climbed on him. Not only that, when Nikunj tried to escape the monkeys, the monkeys cut the Nikunj in place. That left Nikunj badly injured. Nikunj, who was horribly frightened after the attack, says he is now forced to think of living out of Vrindavan.

In the park at Sindhi Colony, the monkeys also attacked the son of Goswami, who served at "Banke Bihari temple. Yashraj Goswami, son of Dharmesh Goswami, who served the temple in the park of Sindhi Colony near bankebihari temple, was playing. Then six monkeys surrounded him. The baby bitten several places on the abdomen and back. Hearing the child's screams, people nearby rescued him from the monkeys and informed the family.
