MP: On video, truck crashes into bike in Khandwa, one killed

INDORE: In a horrific accident caught on video, a container truck that was swerving wildly down a single-lane road in Khandwa rammed head-on into a motorcycle and a tractor, killing one person and critically injuring two.


Two men on a motorcycle were filming the truck as it barreled down Indore-Ichhapur highway at breakneck speed .

Eyewitness Sunil claimed that the trucker had hit a bike a few kilometres ahead after which some locals started chasing it on motorcycles, taking videos of its erratic journey.

When he saw that people were following him, the driver allegedly increased speed and lost control.

The video clip shows the truck veer to the right side of the road and smash into a bike and a tractor coming from the opposite direction.

The three men on a bike flung on the road and the tractor was wrecked.

Locals rushed to the rescue but one of the victims died on the spot. The other two are in hospital. Khandwa SP Vivek Singh said the driver was arrested and the truck impounded.
