'Nadikar' actor Tovino Thomas denies celebrity status; says, 'I don't consider myself one'

Expectations are high as the most awaited Tovino Thomas starrer ‘ Nadikar ’ hits the big screens today (May 3).

Talking to Mathrubhumi News, Tovino Thomas offered insights into his portrayal of David Padikkal , a character he describes as inherently innocent and easygoing.

He elaborates on David's perspective, quoting dialogue from the film: "Even if two of my films flopped, I am still a superstar." However, Tovino is quick to draw a distinction between his on-screen persona and his real-life identity, asserting, "In real life, I am not someone who says that. I don't consider myself a celebrity."

Directed by Jean Paul Lal, 'Nadikar' promises to explore the journey of David Padikkal as he navigates the pitfalls and triumphs of superstardom in the Malayalam film industry .

The film is promised to offer audiences a captivating narrative of reunions, featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Ganapathy, Balu Varghese, Chandu Salimkumar, and Soubin Shahir.

Meanwhile, Tovino's previous outing was with the investigative thriller 'Anweshippin Kandethum'. The movie received good reviews from the audiences, even though didn't make any positive impact at the box office. Tovino has the most awaited fantasy action drama film 'Ajayante Randaam Moshanam' which is directed by the debutant Jithin Lal in the pipeline.
