NCA appoints Anshu Jain as coach for U-16 Elite Camp

Jaipur: Rajasthan head coach of the senior men’s team Anshu Jain has been appointed as the batting coach by the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for its Under-16 Boys Elite Camp to be held in Surat between April 19 and May 15. Jain, an officer at the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has to report for the camp on April 18. This will be his sixth stint as a coach for NCA.

“We are happy to inform you that the NCA on behalf of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed the following coaches associated with your esteemed association for the camps…,” read the letter by head cricket of NCA VVS Laxman. It was under Jain that the state team had made it to the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023-24. Moreover, former Rajasthan head coach Nikhil Doru has been selected to coach the Under-16 Boys Elite Camp that is scheduled to be held in Jaipur. tnn
