New Expressway Connecting Faridabad to Jewar Airport to Be Ready by June 2025

Faridabad: The Faridabad-Jewar Expressway, a crucial project linking Faridabad in Haryana with the Jewar International Airport in Uttar Pradesh, is advancing towards its targeted completion in June 2025. Construction work of this expressway began in June 2023, aligning strategically with the anticipated opening of the Noida Airport in Jewar in December 2024.

In December last year, Deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala in a written reply to an unstarred question by Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma said that the expressway will open by June 20, 2025.

The new expressway is also expected to significantly boost economic prospects along the Faridabad-Jewar corridor and will improve connectivity between the two states.

Impact on Real Estate Landscape

Once ready, Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is expected to transform local residential and commercial real estate markets. With improved accessibility facilitated by the expressway, demand for properties in neighboring municipalities is projected to escalate.

This improved connectivity is likely to attract homebuyers seeking convenient transportation options and investors eyeing expansion opportunities in rapidly developing areas.

Beyond its primary role in easing traffic movement, the Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is viral for regional connectivity, underscored by ongoing interchange development and realignment initiatives aimed at optimising accessibility.

Intersection Development

The construction of an interchange at Mohana village, which will link the Kundli Haziabad Palwal (KGP) Expressway with the Jewar Highway is also in the works. This project aims to improve public transportation connectivity between Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, with the addition of entry and exit ramps along the Mohana-Baghpur-Falaida Road.
