MG Windsor Pro Gets a Price Hike - Here's What It Costs Now and Why
In a stunning display of demand, MG Motor's latest electric offering, the Windsor Pro, saw its entire introductory batch of 8,000 units booked within just 24 hours of launch. Initially priced at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the EV's price has now jumped to Rs 18.10 lakh, marking a Rs 60,000 increase post the early bird offer.
Battery-as-a-Service Gets a Bump Too
MG's Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model has also been revised. Previously starting at Rs 12.50 lakh with a Rs 4.5/km battery rental, the starting price has been increased to Rs 13.09 lakh under the same rental scheme.
What Makes the Windsor Pro Stand Out?
The Windsor Pro comes with a 52.9 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 449 km per charge. It houses a 136 hp electric motor that churns out 200 Nm of torque. Charging options include:
- 7.4kW AC charger: ~9.5 hours for a full charge
- 60kW DC fast charger: 20% to 80% in just 50 minutes
Smart Tech and Convenience Features
The updated model introduces Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging, allowing the Windsor Pro to power gadgets or charge other EVs.

- New 18-inch alloy wheels
- Three new shades: Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver
- Refreshed cabin in a two-tone ivory-black finish
