Tata Motors is all set to unveil the first-ever facelift of its premium hatchback, the Altroz, on May 22, 2025. Since its debut in 2020, the Altroz has become a strong contender in its segment, and this upcoming update aims to keep it fresh and competitive against rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai i20.

Sleeker Looks, Smarter Design
On the outside, the 2025 Altroz will get a stylish makeover. Expect a reworked front fascia with a sleeker grille, new LED headlamps, repositioned DRLs, and a set of sportier alloy wheels. The rear will also see subtle cosmetic tweaks to round off the refreshed design.

Modern, Feature-Packed Cabin
Step inside, and the changes are more striking. The facelifted Altroz will feature a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, setting a more premium tone. The dashboard layout has been revamped, featuring a larger touchscreen with a new user interface, redesigned AC controls, and an updated centre console.

Tata is also stepping up the comfort and tech game. Highlights include:

  • Ventilated front seats

  • 360-degree camera system

  • Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay

  • Likely six airbags as standard

No Change Under the Hood
While the design and features are getting a major upgrade, the engine lineup remains the same. The Altroz will continue with:

  • 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol

  • 1.2L turbo-petrol

  • 1.5L diesel

  • CNG variant with a twin-cylinder setup

Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT automatic, depending on the variant.

With fresh styling and a tech-forward cabin, the updated Altroz is shaping up to be a compelling choice in the premium hatchback space. Mark your calendar for May 22—Tata is ready to hit refresh on a fan favorite.
