What is DigiLocker and Why is it Important?

DigiLocker is a digital platform that allows students to store and access academic records such as marksheets, migration certificates, and school-leaving certificates. To ensure security, CBSE has issued special security PINs for students, which they can use to access their documents securely.


How to Get Your DigiLocker Security PIN

The CBSE has already shared the 6-digit security PINs with affiliated schools. These PINs are essential for students to access their DigiLocker account for the first time. Here's how schools can download and distribute the access codes:


  1. Visit the official DigiLocker website: digitallocker.gov.in
  2. Select the “Login as School” option.
  3. Enter the CBSE LOC (List of Candidates) credentials.
  4. Click on “Download PIN File.”
  5. Choose the relevant class (Class 10 or 12).
  6. Download the file and securely share the PINs with students.

How Students Can Access and Download Their Results


Once the results are out, students can log in to DigiLocker using their mobile number and the security PIN provided by their school. CBSE will also send login details to students’ registered mobile numbers. After logging in, students will be able to download:
