Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar , surprised fans on Gandhi Jayanti with an announcement of his upcoming blockbuster, " Sky Force ."

The teaser release coincides with not just Gandhi Jayanti but also the birth anniversary of India's former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, under whose leadership the event depicted in the film occurred.

Taking to social media, the actor enthusiastically shared the film's teaser and wrote, "No better day than today to announce the incredible story of #SkyForce: Our untold story of India’s first and deadliest airstrike. Give it love, please. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat."
