Alia Bhatt shared her thoughts on the simple pleasures she relishes while visiting cities like New York, which offer a respite from the bustling streets of Mumbai . In an interview with InStyle Australia , the accomplished actress revealed how she enjoys leisurely activities, particularly when spending quality time with her daughter, Raha Kapoor , during their travels abroad.

Precious Moments with Raha in New York
Alia , alongside her husband and fellow actor, Ranbir Kapoor , embarked on a recent vacation to New York City, where they cherished moments with their 10-month-old baby girl.

She expressed her joy at being able to take Raha for a stroll in the city's serene parks, a luxury not easily afforded in their home country.

Alia elaborated, “We can’t really do that in India... I can’t take her out like that, it becomes a little complicated for us. So just walking around and watching her fall asleep in her pram, taking her to cafes and shopping. I put her in my little carrier and she’s just like, strapped onto me. That’s something that I really cherish.”

Privacy for Their Little One Earlier this year, Alia and Ranbir had taken Raha for a walk in their apartment complex in Mumbai, causing a social media frenzy. However, to protect their daughter's privacy, they requested that paparazzi cover Raha's face with emojis in the pictures, respecting the couple's wishes for her anonymity.

Celebrating New Beginnings
Their daughter, Raha, was born on November 6, 2022. In a July interview with Vogue India , Alia shared insights into her experiences of travelling with Raha, highlighting the careful preparations she makes for her little one.

Alia disclosed, “I realised when I was travelling from Mumbai to London, my bag had nothing to do with me. It basically just had my passport. But otherwise, it was her pacifier, her napkins, a burp cloth, her mittens, an extra pair of socks, an extra pair of this, a little toy, a little book. And I said, ‘Okay, okay, my bag has now become Raha’s bag. It's no longer my bag'.”

In this glimpse into her life as a mother and international traveller, Alia Bhatt showcases the delicate balance between her thriving career and her cherished role as a parent.
