'India Doesn’t Provoke': Shahid Kapoor Revises Caption, Mutes Reactions
Bollywood actors have come forward to show their support for the Indian Armed Forces following Operation Sindoor , a strategic and restrained military action carried out in response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Among them is Shahid Kapoor , who posted a striking image of an Indian Air Force aircraft on Instagram, initially captioning it with a firm message: "India doesn’t provoke. But India never forgets," alongside the Indian flag emoji and the hashtag #OperationSindoor.
Soon after, Shahid modified the post by removing the quote and keeping only the emoji and hashtag. Additionally, he disabled comments on the viral post, maintaining a focused and solemn tone.
A United Voice from the Film Industry
The response wasn’t limited to Shahid. The film fraternity collectively echoed its support for the armed forces. Ayushmann Khurrana took to Instagram to declare, “Terrorism has no place in this world,” accompanied by the Tricolour emoji and a bold image bearing the words “Operation Sindoor.” Ranveer Singh, Shahid’s co-star from Padmaavat, also extended his support by sharing the national flag and the hashtag #OperationSindoor on his Instagram Story, adding to the growing wave of online solidarity.
Voices of Strength and Patriotism
Veteran actor and politician Kamal Haasan issued a detailed and patriotic message: “A proud India stands united with its armed forces. This is the resolute response of a strong nation that will not be divided by cowardly acts of terror. I applaud the decisive and strategic military action taken by the Government of India. Jai Hind.” His words captured the national mood and emphasized unity against terrorism. Actor Ajay Devgn also expressed his admiration for the government and the military. In a social media post, he wrote: “Saluting our Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi and our Indian forces. India stands tall and strong. Jai Hind!”
