Dunki Drop 5:SRK Unveils Teaser of Upcoming Track 'O Maahi,' Clarifies Meaning of 'Dunki'

On Monday morning, superstar Shah Rukh Khan released a teaser for the upcoming track 'O Maahi' from his film Dunki.

SRK posted a teaser of the song titled ' Dunki Drop 5 : O Maahi' on X (formerly Twitter) with a caption, “Because everybody asks, what does Dunki mean? Dunki means being apart from your loved ones. And when you are with them, one feels the moment should last till the end of time. In the 13-second teaser, SRK stands confidently in a desert, striking his iconic pose while dressed in a sleek all-black outfit. Accompanied by the text, "Promo version. The film has a different version," the clip hints at something unique to come. Arijit Singh lends his voice to the song featured in the teaser, but the official release date for the track is yet to be announced.

The promotional video for the track 'O Maahi' featuring SRK is set to be revealed soon, but there's a twist: the version in the film will be different.

Fans have been loving the recent releases of two tracks from the movie: 'Lutt Putt Gaya' and 'Nikle Thi Kabhi Hum Ghar Se'. Both songs have received a positive response from the audience.

"Dunki" showcases a vibrant ensemble cast featuring outstanding actors such as Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The film, a collaboration between JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan.

It follows their challenging yet transformative voyage, driven by the pursuit of fulfilling their aspirations. Inspired by true events, "Dunki" weaves a narrative of affection and camaraderie, uniting diverse tales in a blend of humor and poignant revelations.

The new trailer for 'Dunki: Drop 4' has been released by the creators, giving us a delightful glimpse into Rajkumar Hirani's world. It begins with SRK aboard a train, hinting at the thrilling journey ahead. The trailer introduces charming characters, notably Hardy (played by SRK), who arrives in a picturesque Punjab village. Here, he meets a lively group of friends – Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli – all sharing a common aspiration: to journey to London for better opportunities and to secure a brighter future for their loved ones back home.

"Dunki" is scheduled for release in theaters on December 21st.
