Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan , has been making waves with his triumphant return to the silver screen in 2023, following a five-year hiatus. His year commenced on a high note with the release of ' Pathaan ,' and now he basks in the glory of ' Jawan ,' a cinematic marvel that has been drawing packed audiences to theaters across the nation.


In a historic feat, Jawan has shattered all previous box office records by becoming the first Indian film to amass a staggering Rs 200 crore in just three days.

While the nation revels in the on-screen magic of Jawan, it has come to light that the digital rights to the movie have already been snapped up, and the price tag is nothing short of astonishing. According to reports from the Free Press Journal, Jawan has been acquired by the streaming giant Netflix for a jaw-dropping Rs 250 crore.


Though an official release date for "Jawan" on the OTT platform has not been unveiled by the producers, given the resounding acclaim the film has received in theaters, fans are gearing up for an eagerly awaited home-viewing experience.

Jawan Box Office Triumph
Renowned film trade analyst Sumit Kadel recently disclosed that Shah Rukh Khan 's magnum opus had notched up an astounding ₹600 crore in global box office earnings within just six days of its release. Kadel took to Twitter to share this impressive milestone, stating, “#Jawan has crossed ₹ 600 CR in 6 days worldwide with an average of 100 cr + gross on each day.”




Jawan made its theatrical debut last Thursday in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions. The film boasts a star-studded cast with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi , and Shah Rukh Khan portraying pivotal roles. Additionally, Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance as Shah Rukh Khan's mother, while Lehar Khan, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and other accomplished actors contribute to the movie's success.
