Following its release on December 1, early bookings indicated that 'Animal' would secure a substantial opening weekend collection. The latest reports confirm Animal's remarkable performance, amassing Rs 130.07 crores in India during its debut weekend. Impressively, the film swiftly joined the Rs 200 crore club worldwide by day 2, asserting its box office prowess.


As per Sacnilk.com's reports, 'Animal' grossed Rs 72.50 crore across various languages within India, with the Hindi screenings contributing Rs 64.80 crore. Notably, on Saturday, Day 2, the film amassed Rs 66.27 crore, surpassing its opening day collection of Rs 63.80 crore.

Surpassing his previous best opener, Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva, by Rs 10 crores, the film has set a new benchmark in his career. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva, released in 2022, achieved an opening weekend collection of Rs 120.75 crore, securing the second spot among Ranbir Kapoor's best openers. Following closely behind is Sanju, with an opening collection of Rs 120.06 crore, ranking as his third best opener.
