Salman Khan Set To Commence Filming AR Murugadoss' 'Sikandar' In May - Details Inside!
Salman Khan has just unveiled the title of his forthcoming collaboration with AR Murugadoss , set for release on Eid . While he's not gracing the screens this Eid, he's pledged a grand return in 2025. The much-anticipated film, " Sikandar ," marks their next venture, scheduled to hit theaters on Eid 2025.
Salman took to Instagram to unveil the title slate, featuring “Sajid Nadiadwala presents Salman Khan in and as Sikandar.” Alongside the announcement, Salman gave a nod to this year’s Eid releases, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" and Ajay Devgn’s "Maidaan." He urged everyone to enjoy these releases this Eid and look forward to meeting "Sikandar" on the next Eid.

Murugadoss is presently engrossed in shooting an action-packed film, provisionally named SK23, alongside Tamil superstar Sivakarthikeyan, a commitment slated to extend until June. Consequently, he will need to adeptly balance his schedule between the Hindi and Tamil ventures over the next couple of months.

“Before Sikandar goes on floors, Murugadoss wants to wrap up maximum portions of SK23. After he shoots the first schedule of Sikandar in May, he will go back to finish Sivakarthikeyan’s movie in June. From July, he will be fully immersed in the Salman-starrer,” said a source.
In a recent interview with Times Of India, A R Murugadoss tantalized fans with insights into the film. He remarked, “In addition to high-octane action sequences, it will be packed with emotions and also carry a powerful social message. It will be a pan-India film. Audiences can expect to see a new kind of Salman Khan in this film.”
He added, “Salman and I had discussed this project five years ago, but due to circumstances, we couldn’t proceed at that time. Recently, he asked for another narration. After that, he said that the script gave him a good vibe and asked if we could start working on it immediately.”
