Preparing for the imminent release of their upcoming movie, ' Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya ,' Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are actively engaged in promoting the film. In their promotional endeavors, both actors recently participated in the filming of an episode for the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, with Kriti delighting fans by sharing a lively video from the set.

Sharing a light-hearted moment on her Instagram story, Kriti posted a humorous video of Shahid during their film promotions. In the video, Shahid playfully rested his head on Kriti's shoulder, feigning tears and exclaimed, “We are just three days from release, Kriti. Three days, oh god.” To which, Kriti responded, “Why are you crying, be happy.” Shahid explained, “We put so much love and heart into this film.”

In their forthcoming film, Shahid and Kriti star in a unique love story, portraying the connection between a human and a robot. This project signifies Shahid's comeback to the romantic comedy genre after a substantial hiatus, generating heightened anticipation among his fans. Enthusiastically awaiting the on-screen chemistry between Shahid and Kriti, audiences are eager to witness this fresh take on romance.

In an exclusive interview with News18, Shahid opened up about his absence from romantic entertainers, attributing it to the challenge of finding the perfect script for a love story that brings something fresh to the audience. Emphasizing the difficulty of cracking the romantic genre, he revealed, “I was kind of missing doing something light and fun, definitely, but honestly, it’s the most difficult genre to crack. Because, I mean, I listen to 10 scripts a month, and people don’t know that there’s so much you hear from others – people tell me ‘aur picture karo’. But it’s so difficult to find scripts that could offer the audience something new, and love story is the most difficult genre, I feel, to do. And then, I just found this film was answering that question of mine, like what is it that you can do new in a love story.”

Shahid and Kriti's film is slated for release on February 9th this year.
