According to Bollywood Hungama, the film has recently undergone an 'audio adjustment' and experienced a reduction in the 'scene depicting sexual activity' by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It's been reported that the CBFC has 'trimmed the scene of sexual activity by 25%'. The report further states that nine seconds of the scene were edited out. Originally, the intimate scene was 36 seconds long but has now been shortened to 27 seconds reportedly. Additionally, it's noted that in the latter part of the film, the term 'daru (alcohol)' has been replaced with 'drink'.

In addition to the alterations mentioned, it's been reported that the CBFC requested the producers to enlarge and enhance the visibility of the anti-smoking static message in Hindi. Following these adjustments, it's said that Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya received a U/A certificate from the CBFC on February 2nd.
