It's uncertain what transpired involving Anurag Dobhal, but various unconfirmed accounts suggest that the YouTuber engaged in a dispute with a coffee shop proprietor who purportedly referred to him as a "joker." Furthermore, rumors indicate that the coffee shop owner was a fan of Munawar Faruqui, and tensions escalated when Anurag made derogatory remarks about the stand-up comedian, prompting the owner to become agitated.

Munawar Faruqui and Anurag Dobhal both competed in Bigg Boss 17 earlier this year, with Faruqui emerging as the winner. Throughout their time in Salman Khan's show, Faruqui and Dobhal had a strained relationship. Additionally, Dobhal was ousted from the competition by Faruqui, a move that Dobhal argued was unjust.

Following his eviction from Bigg Boss 17, Anurag Dobhal took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to indirectly criticize Munawar Faruqui. While not mentioning Munawar by name, Anurag rebuked the stand-up comedian, accusing him of tarnishing the reputation of women. “Papa kehtey they naam karega Lekin Beta dharam aur two timing ke naam pr Stand up comedy aur ladkiyo ko badnaam karega (Father used to say that his son will make his name big, but son will defame stand up comedy and girls in the name of religion and two timings),” Anurag expressed.

Anurag later responded to Munawar's Bigg Boss victory, stating, “Sorry, jitna toh show ka winning prize tha utna toh humne donate kar diya. But fir bhi ghamand nahi karte haina. (Sorry, we donated as much as the winning prize of the show. But still, we should not boast).”
