Since its release, "Jawan" has been rewriting box office records, amassing an impressive 400 crores in India alone within a mere 10 days. Early estimates suggest that the film's total worldwide box office collection stands at a staggering 440.48 crores.


According to the box office tracking website Sacnilk.com, "Jawan" raked in an estimated 31.50 crores net in India on its tenth day of release. The Hindi version of the film boasted an overall occupancy rate of 37.29%, with peak attendance during evening and nighttime screenings. Cities like Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, and the National Capital Region (NCR) reported significant collections. Meanwhile, the Tamil version of the film achieved an overall occupancy rate of 33.51%.

Director Atlee revealed that the budget for "Jawan" exceeded 300 crores, making it a massive production. He shared his journey, stating, "I narrated the film on a Zoom call during Covid times. I know theatrical footfall was going down, and people were not ready to greenlight even a 30-40 crore film. I know because I am also a producer. But sir [Shah Rukh Khan] greenlighted a Rs 300 cr film when everyone was skeptical. But we didn't stop at Rs 300 cr. We went more. We made a blockbuster in three days and now, we are flying," during the "Jawan" success press meet.

"Jawan" has received overwhelming support from fans and stars across the country. From Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar to Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh, the film has left an indelible mark on the industry. "Jawan" revolves around a vigilante seeking revenge against corrupt ministers and a businessman responsible for women ending up in jail. The film showcases Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, portraying both a soldier named Vikram Rathore and his son, Azad, who serves as a jailer. Deepika Padukone and Nayanthara play the respective love interests of these two characters, leaving audiences eagerly awaiting the possibility of a sequel.
