'Tiger 3 Roars' At The Box Office: Salman Khan's Massive Day 1 Collection Surpasses Rs 44 Crore

On its first day, the Maneesh Sharma-directed spy-thriller, 'Tiger 3,' starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, achieved remarkable box office figures, raking in an impressive Rs 44.5 crore in India, as reported by sacnilk.com. The film was released on Diwali.


'Tiger 3' Box Office Collection

'Tiger 3' marks the third installment in the Tiger franchise and is a significant component of the YRF Spy Universe, alongside hits like War and Pathaan. In addition to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, the film features Emraan Hashmi as the primary antagonist. Notably, it includes cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir.


This movie emerged as Salman Khan's most successful opening, surpassing the 2019 release 'Bharat' (₹42.30 crore) by Ali Abbas Zafar and the 2015 Diwali release 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' (₹40.35 crore) directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Similarly, for Katrina Kaif, 'Tiger 3' secured the third-highest opening spot, following Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Thugs of Hindostan' in 2018 (₹52.25 crore) and her collaboration with Salman Khan in 'Bharat'.

Contrasting Tiger 3's Advance Booking And Its Opening


According to the portal, Tiger 3 garnered around ₹44.5 crore on its multi-language opening day. The film recorded a 41.33 percent occupancy in Hindi on its release day (Sunday). The portal also wrote on X, “Tiger 3 tomorrow advance is low considering big movie and festival holiday. Let's see, how much spot booking is going to happen.”

As of now, the top second-day advance booking of the year is held by Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, registering ₹32.10 crore, followed by Jawan with ₹21.62 crore. Tiger 3 currently claims the third position on the list, generating ₹17.48 crore from advance bookings for its second day.
