Unveiling Fighter: Hrithik Roshan Introduces Patty as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania
Hrithik Roshan unveiled the first look poster of his character in the much-anticipated movie "Fighter" on Monday via his Instagram account. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film features Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

In his debut appearance, Hrithik exuded a powerful and striking presence adorned in his uniform. Capturing the essence of his character as Patty, also known as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, he wrote: "Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, Call Sign: Patty. Designation: Squadron Pilot, Unit: Air Dragons. Fighter Forever (India flag emoticon)."
Farhan Akhtar, director of Hrithik's film 'Lakshya' and his co-star in 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,' responded to the post with a comment, “Looking sharp!” His Mohenjo Daro co-star Pooja Hegde wrote, “I mean… HOW so fine?!!!!” Meanwhile, girlfriend Saba Azad commented, “Go patty!!! (fire emoticons)”

The motion poster for the movie "Fighter" was unveiled on Independence Day 2023, offering a sneak peek at the three lead actors portraying Indian Air Force (IAF) officers in the film. The poster showcased the presence of Deepika Padukone, alongside Anil Kapoor, giving audiences a glimpse into their roles in the movie, Hrithik wrote on Twitter or X, “Spirit of Fighter | Vande Mataram! See you in the theatres on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day. Fighter releases worldwide on 25th January 2024.”
The movie brings Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand together again after they collaborate on Bang Bang! and War. It marks the third collaboration between Deepika Padukone and the director, following their work on Bachna Ae Haseeno and this year's hit, Pathaan.
Hrithik dedicated himself to sculpting his physique for a role in a film. He's been documenting his transformation journey on Instagram, regularly posting videos and pictures. Recently, he shared a gym session video on his profile and wrote, “My friend and trainer Kris Gethin journeys back to his home in the US tomorrow. With still 10 weeks more to go for the completion of our 2nd phase, and 6 months of intense hard work already behind us, I could not have been more satisfied, more charged, more driven and more at peace with the process than I am right now at this very moment.
