BTS World 's service will come to an end by the close of December, making it the second BTS game to be discontinued.

In a statement posted on the official BTS World forum in English, Netmarble has declared the termination of the game's services. The game is no longer available for download from either the Play Store or App Store.

"Hello, this is the BTS WORLD MANAGER. Thank you for your love and support for BTS WORLD. This announcement is to inform that BTS WORLD will be discontinuing its service starting Tuesday, December 26 2023. We really appreciate your love and support for the BTS WORLD, and we will do our best to minimize your inconvenience until the end of the service day," BTS World posted.

BTS World released its ultimate game chapter, Chapter 22, on June 2, 2022. This signified the end of any future updates for the game. As a gesture of gratitude to the fans, Netmarble made the game more accessible by enhancing the drop-rate for 5-star cards and offering additional gems to players. They also expanded the DNA store, making all cards available for purchase, rather than just a limited selection.

Fans have been urging NetMarble to release an archive of the content that BTS filmed and recorded exclusively for the game, especially since many users have not yet completed the game.

Fortunately, ARMY still has nearly four months to enjoy playing the game. It's worth noting that in June 2020, SuperStar BTS concluded its service, despite its widespread popularity and acclaim for its gameplay and card-collecting mechanics.
