CBSE 10th And 12th Supplementary Exam 2023 Forms Available From June 1, Exams To Take Place In July

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a significant announcement regarding the online submission of the list of candidates by schools for classes X and XII. Starting from June 1, 2023, schools can submit the List of Candidates (LOC) for the supplementary exams of 10th and 12th through the official website of Pariksha Sangam, which can be accessed at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.


According to the notification, the online submission is available for three categories: compartment (1st chance), improvement of performance, and improvement of performance in up to 2 subjects for Class 10. For Class 12, students can also submit online for improvement of performance in two subjects and compartments (3rd chance). Additionally, compartment (3rd chance) students have the option to appear as private candidates.

In the case where a student is categorized as being in the compartment category during the main examinations, they are granted a total of three opportunities to successfully pass the examination.

From June 1 to June 15, 2023, schools in India are required to pay Rs.300 per subject, whereas schools in Nepal and outside India have to pay Rs.1000 and Rs.2000 respectively. If the payment is made between June 16 to 17, a late fee of Rs.2000 will be charged.

For the Class XII admissions, regular students who participated in the board exams in 2023 and were declared compartmental are permitted to apply for improvement in only one subject. However, for Class X admissions, students who were declared compartmental can apply for improvement in either one or two subjects.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that supplementary examinations for Class XII will be conducted on July 17, 2023. Additionally, supplementary exams for Class X will commence on the same date, July 17, 2023.
