NITI Aayog Meeting Today: Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal, KCR, And Nitish Kumar Choose Not To Attend

Opposition leaders including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee , Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal , Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar are expected to skip the 8th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog , according to sources.

The meeting, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Chairman of NITI Aayog, is scheduled to take place on Saturday in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan , as stated by NITI Aayog.


The theme of the meeting is 'Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Role of Team India,' and several important topics will be discussed, including a focus on MSMEs, infrastructure and investments, reducing compliances, women empowerment, health and nutrition, skill development, and Gati Shakti for area development and social infrastructure, as reported by ANI.

The attendees will include chief ministers or lieutenant governors of all states and Union Territories, Union Ministers as ex-officio Members, and the vice-chairman and members of NITI Aayog.

This 8th Governing Council Meeting is taking place against the backdrop of India's G20 Presidency. India's G20 motto, 'One Earth, One Family, One Future,' reflects its civilizational values and its vision of each country's role in shaping the future of our planet.
