The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a flagship initiative by the Central Government, aims to support farmers by providing an annual installment of Rs 6,000. However, not all farmers are eligible to benefit from this scheme. Let's explore the conditions for eligibility and those who miss out on this assistance.

1. How to Apply for PM Kisan:
The Bihar Government Agriculture Department has streamlined the application process for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Eligible land-holding farmers can apply online through self-registration on the PM Kisan Portal (pmkisan.gov.in) under the Farmer Corner section. This ensures a hassle-free application process.

2. Necessary Conditions for PM Kisan Yojana :
To qualify for the PM Kisan Scheme , applicants must meet specific criteria, including owning agricultural land registered in their name before February 1, 2019. Additionally, linking the bank account to Aadhaar and NPCI (DBT Enabled) is mandatory for availing benefits.

3. Farmers Excluded from PM Kisan Yojana :
Certain categories of individuals are not eligible for the PM Kisan Scheme. These include those with family members already benefiting from the program, individuals without cultivable land, and applicants below the age of 18 as of February 1, 2019.

4. More Exclusions:
Other exclusions encompass those owning institutional land, NRIs, individuals with family members holding constitutional posts, or those connected to political roles. Moreover, the scheme excludes families of retired officers, employees of government departments, and individuals with family members paying income tax in the previous year.

5. Professionals and PM Kisan:
The scheme also excludes individuals associated with professional bodies like doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, or architects, who are practicing in their respective fields.

6. Single Beneficiary per Family:
It's crucial to note that only one member of a family can be a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Scheme, ensuring fair distribution of the benefits.

7. Contact for Further Information:
For additional details, interested individuals can reach out to Farmer Advisors, Agriculture Coordinators, Block Agriculture Officers, Subdivision Agriculture Officers, and District Agriculture Officers. Clear communication channels help in resolving queries and facilitating a smoother application process.

The PM Kisan Scheme is a commendable effort to support farmers, but understanding the eligibility criteria is key to benefiting from this initiative.
