  • A thundersquall with winds touching 70 kmph is likely in Himachal Pradesh and surrounding areas.
  • Heavy rains are predicted in Uttarakhand, West UP, Haryana, and Rajasthan on June 4.
  • Hailstorms were reported in Himachal and Uttarakhand on June 3, with more hail and dust storms likely in western Rajasthan due to western disturbances and cyclonic activity.

Scorching Heat in the East


  • Odisha remains under heatwave alert till June 6, while Gangetic West Bengal will feel the heat till June 4.
  • Temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3°C over the next two days.
  • Hot and humid conditions will persist in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry.

Southern States See Monsoon Progress


  • Kerala, coastal Karnataka, and parts of Andhra Pradesh will experience light to moderate showers through June 5.
  • Heavy rains are expected in Kerala and coastal Karnataka on June 4.
  • Telangana and interior Karnataka may see thunderstorms with gusty winds up to 40 kmph.

High Sea Alert: Fishermen Warned


  • The IMD continues to warn against venturing into rough seas between June 4 and 7.
  • Risk zones include the central Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, Comorin region, Gulf of Mannar, and parts of the Bay of Bengal.

Delhi-NCR Weather Outlook


  • Residents of Delhi-NCR can expect a partly cloudy sky on June 4.

  • Temperatures will hover around 35-37°C (max) and 22-24°C (min).
