Despite leading with a significant margin into the final round, a series of missteps saw her finish at -17, relinquishing the gold to Thailand's Arpichuya Yubol .

Aditi, who had a commanding 7-shot lead at the start of the final round, witnessed a rough day at the golf course. Her lead began to dwindle as early as the 6th hole where she made a bogey, and although she regained some momentum with a birdie on the 9th hole, the challenges kept coming. Meanwhile, Yubol was steadily narrowing the gap with consistent play, ultimately overtaking Aditi with a two-under score of 34.

The competition heightened with every hole, as Yubol and China's Xiyu Lin started closing in. Aditi found herself in tough spots multiple times, notably on the 11th and 15th holes where she had to recover from bunkers. By the 16th hole, Aditi faced a daunting double bogey, which pushed her to second place.

In a dramatic turn of events on the final hole, Aditi's drive landed in the rough, but she managed to recover without conceding a bogey.
