The BCCI has announced that a final batch of tickets for the knockout stage matches of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will be available from Thursday, November 9, at 8:00 pm. Fans can book their seats on the official ticketing website, https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com.

"This will be the last chance for cricket fans wanting to experience the magic and thrill of the World Cup and to witness in person the crowning of a new champion," BCCI said.

The first semi-final will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the second one at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India, who have won all their eight matches so far, will play in Mumbai. The final will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India vs Pakistan semi-final on the cards?
India’s arch-rival Pakistan may also qualify for the semi-finals and face the hosts. Pakistan are currently fifth in the points table with eight points in eight matches and a net run rate of 0.036. They will face England in their last league match on Saturday (11 November) at Eden Gardens.

New Zealand, Afghanistan in the fray
New Zealand and Afghanistan are the other two teams in contention for the semi-finals. They are both tied with eight points but New Zealand have a better run rate of 0.467 compared to Afghanistan’s -0.153.

New Zealand will face Sri Lanka in their final league match on Friday (10 November) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. A win for the Kiwis will seal their spot in the semi-finals against India.

Afghanistan will take on Bangladesh in their last league match on Sunday (12 November) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They will need to win the match and hope that Pakistan lose to England and New Zealand lose to Sri Lanka to have a chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.
