Speculation abounds regarding the dynamic between Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya following the shift in leadership within the Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Hardik's appointment as captain marked the end of Rohit's decade-long reign at the helm, following his sensational move from the Gujarat Titans .

Hardik's debut as MI skipper didn't yield the desired result, fueling rumours of discord within the team. However, former Indian batsman Robin Uthappa shed light on a post-match interaction between Rohit and Hardik after their clash against the Gujarat Titans, offering a glimmer of hope for Mumbai Indians supporters.
