Mohammed Siraj Back To Number One In ICC ODI Bowling Rankings

In a spectacular turn of events, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has reclaimed the coveted number-one spot in the men's ICC ODI bowling rankings. His remarkable six-wicket haul during the thrilling final of the recently concluded Asia Cup propelled him eight places up the rankings ladder. Siraj 's exceptional performance was instrumental in dismantling the Sri Lankan batting lineup, limiting them to a mere 50 runs and ultimately securing India's resounding 10-wicket victory in the championship match.


Siraj had initially reached the top position in January but briefly yielded it to Josh Hazlewood in March. However, his outstanding display in the Asia Cup final has now restored him to the pinnacle of ODI bowling rankings. Meanwhile, left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav has experienced a slight dip, sliding down three places to ninth.

In the pace bowling department, India's spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah , climbed two positions to secure the 27th spot, while the dynamic all-rounder Hardik Pandya made a significant leap, ascending eight places to claim the 50th position.

Remarkably, among all-rounders, Hardik Pandya is a prominent figure in the top 20, as he ascended one position to secure the sixth place, highlighting his exceptional contributions in both batting and bowling.
