Reliance Jio has officially confirmed the imminent launch of Jio AirFiber, an innovative fixed-wireless connectivity device. The company has revealed that this cutting-edge device is set to make its debut on September 19, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Mukesh Ambani , the Chairman of Reliance Industries , expressed his enthusiasm about this launch, stating, "Today, I'm delighted to announce that JioAirFiber will launch on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on 19th September, giving us another avenue for customer value and revenue growth in the untapped Indian home segment."

Recognising the challenges faced by telecom companies in achieving nationwide connectivity, Ambani emphasised the significance of Jio AirFiber in delivering high-speed connectivity across the country. He elaborated, "JioAirFiber uses our pan-India 5G network and advanced wireless technologies to bypass the need for last-mile fibre."

Furthermore, Ambani highlighted the remarkable potential of Jio AirFiber, affirming that it could facilitate up to 150,000 connections daily. This projection positions Jio to effectively target the market and extend its reach to over 200 million high-paying households over the next three years. The strategy involves integrating the existing JioFiber wired network with the newly introduced Jio AirFiber device, which offers rapid and reliable internet connectivity for both residential and office spaces.
