Additionally, users can directly interact with the AI chatbot on the web via meta.ai.

Initially, Meta AI will be available in English. According to the company, users can seamlessly integrate the new AI tool into the apps they already use. Meta describes Meta AI as "smarter, faster, and more fun than ever before," with its enhanced capabilities powered by Llama 3.

Meta AI's text-based functionalities are based on Llama 2, while its image generation tools utilize the advanced Llama 3.

To access Meta AI on WhatsApp , Instagram , Facebook , and Messenger, users need to update to the latest versions of these apps.

Meta has tailored its AI implementation uniquely for each platform. On WhatsApp, users can request activity recommendations or plan upcoming trips. Similarly, on the web, Meta AI can assist in creating multiple-choice tests or decorating new living spaces.

On Facebook, Meta AI is integrated into the feed, allowing users to ask questions about specific posts for more detailed insights. Users can also use Meta AI to generate images, create WhatsApp stickers, or retouch existing images.
