According to a report by WABetaInfo , WhatsApp is actively developing a feature that will revolutionise how users engage with status updates. This new feature enables users to respond to status updates using avatars, adding a touch of personalization to the interaction . Currently available for Android beta testers, this feature requires the installation of version 2.23.18.9.
Expanding Interaction with Avatars
While users presently have the option to reply to status updates using a set of eight emojis, WhatsApp's plans to introduce avatar-based replies will undoubtedly elevate this experience. With the current limitation of eight emojis, the introduction of eight avatars for responses will provide users with a more diverse and expressive range of options for engagement.
