In the meantime, the rising star's new action movie Kraven the Hunter has been delayed once again.

The Sony Spider-Man spin-off, set in another universe to Tom Holland MCU movies, was originally set to hit cinemas in January 2023.

Having been shifted to October that year, the film then moved to August this year and has once again had its release date pushed back to December 13, 2024.

The movie has taken the slot originally sat in by Sony's Karate Kid remote, which has since been shifted back to May 2025.

Kraven the Hunter, about a big-game hunter, is another Sony Spider-Man villain solo movie following the likes of Tom Hardy's Venom, Jared Leto's Morbius and Dakota Johnson's Madame Web.

All these non-MCU Marvel have been critically panned, with only the two Venom films not being box office bombs.

Kraven the Hunter co-stars Russell Crowe as the lead's estranged father and Ariana DeBose as Calypso, a voodoo priestess and Kraven's lost interest.
