No casualty reported as Fire breaks out: Ajmer-Puri Express engine

 

Boinda:  A significant incident was deflected when railroad staff saw smoke surging out of the motor of Ajmer-Puri Express close Handapa station and found a way to soak the fire.

While the motor bearing number 18422 endured serious harms because of the fire, the travelers going on the Ajmer-Puri Express were checked safe.

As per sources, the train was going towards Puri by means of Sambalpur.

The fire broke out in the motor after Saragipali station at about 1:15pm. A portion of the railroad staff saw smoke and fire close Handapa station. They alongside the official responsible for Boinda station AK Gadnayak educated the loco pilot about the occurrence.

The train ended at the Handapa station for quite a while. Afterward, the fire was doused with the assistance of quenchers kept at the station.

Another motor was utilized to run the train which left Handapa station at about 2:40pm. The train was deferred by around an hour and a half, a railroad official said.

The careful reason for the accident is being researched, it was found out.
