'No post-poll tie up with NDA or INDIA'

HYDERABAD: Former minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday said the BRS would not join the NDA or the I.N.D.I.A alliance after the Lok Sabha elections .

Campaigning for the BRS candidates in the Lok Sabha polls, KTR said the BRS itself would play a crucial role in the next govt formation at the centre. He said 13 major political parties not affiliated either to the BJP or Congress but they would have a say in the next govt formation.

KTR addressed the public at road shows in Quthbullapur, Secunderabad Cantonment, and Medchal assembly segments as part of the campaign. KTR accused chief minister A Revanth Reddy of not keeping promises made to the people during the assembly elections last year. Revanth Reddy was toeing the line of the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and not his party leader Rahul Gandh.

The BRS working president said Modi was provoking people appealing to religious sentiments and described it as ‘cheap politics’.
He urged voters to cast their votes in favour of the BRS candidate in Malkajgiri Rigidi Lakshma Reddy. Being a local candidate, he would be available to people all the time unlike non-local candidates from other parties, he said.
